Franklin County Fiscal Court
The governing body of Franklin County consists of a County Judge Executive, elected at large by residents of the entire county and six district magistrates, elected by residents of their corresponding district govern on a four year term.

The first meeting of Franklin County Fiscal Court for calendar year 2008 was held Thursday, January 10, 2008. Thereafter, meetings are held every three weeks on alternate days of Friday morning with the work session at 9:00 a.m. and Court convening at 10:00 a.m., and on Thursday evening with work session at 5:00 p.m. and Court convening at 6:00 p.m.
Fiscal Court may schedule meetings on different days or times other those outlined above if necessary.
Fiscal Court meetings are open to the public and held in the new Fiscal Court Building located at 321 West Main Street with work sessions in the conference room and court meetings in the main court room.
