The Solid Waste Coordinator (SWC) answers to calls concerning high weeds and grass, junked cars, and nuisance control. The SWC picks up old appliances on a call in basis, appliances should be left at the curb for easy pickup. To schedule an appointment for appliance pickup, please call the above referenced phone number. The County of Franklin incurs the cost of garbage disposal and the county recycling schedule is printed in the State Journal weekly. Please contact the office for additional information.

A Kentucky issued drivers license is required to obtain a voucher.
This is a free service for Franklin County residents only. Contractors are not eligible for free dumping on Saturdays.
