Judge Wells and the Fiscal Court support’s CASA of the Bluegrass and their “2022 Paint the Town Blue Week”. This campaign is going to be held from April 24th-30th and seeks to bring prevention and awareness of Child Abuse throughout our community. They ask that local business and citizens help raise awareness of child abuse prevention by putting up blue ribbons and bow on front doors and store fronts. They also ask that everyone use blue lightbulbs where applicable, setup a pinwheel garden or help volunteer to help vulnerable kids in our community.
One way to volunteer is to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a child who is involved with the court system. You can find out more about these volunteer opportunities via casaofthebluegrass.org or by calling (502) 875-0702.
