Relay For Life 2023 in Franklin County is scheduled for Saturday, September 9th from 5:00-10:00 pm at Capital City Christian Church. The theme is “Racing for a Cure”, and all teams are encouraged to decorate, dress, and play with this theme!
What is Relay for Life?
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event dedicated to saving lives from cancer. For over 35 years, communities across the world have come together to honor and remember loved ones and take action for lifesaving change. Every Relay looks different and reflects the community it is in- times, dates, events, and schedules can shift, but you’ll always experience a meaningful luminaria service, a free dinner benefitting survivors and caretakes, events and engagement from teams and community organizations, and walking or running around a designated track.
How Can I Get Involved?
There are tons of ways to get involved with RFL, especially in your position as a community leader, business owner, or nonprofit coordinator. We want YOU to join us in any of the following ways at any price point!

Our Luminaries can be purchased in honor or memory of anyone in your life- luminaries can be as simple as a name written across it or as decorative as you can imagine! Our luminaries are an integral part of the RFL event, encouraging reflection and hope as we read the names of the brave fighters in our battle against cancer.
