Our Trash for Cash application will go LIVE at 10am on February 1st. Check Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/fcfcsolidwaste or franklincounty.ky.gov for the application link.

The link will be open until February 9th at 10 am.

Requirements:

-Participants must be a Frankfort-based school or nonprofit organization

-Cannot have already participated in the 2023 program

-Consent to picking up 15 miles of litter on a Saturday in 2024

-Provide W9 form upon application

Organizations earn $100 per mile of picked up trash.

Please enter all information required on the form to ensure the Solid Waste Department can contact you if chosen. MUST attach the group’s W9 form to be eligible.

All organizations that meet the requirements will be entered into a random lottery drawing for the available spots if more than 20 groups apply.

Groups chosen will be notified by 5:30 PM Tuesday, February 13th.

ONE ENTRY PER GROUP. If your group completed a cleanup in 2023, they are not eligible for a spot in 2024
