Many roads in downtown Frankfort will be closed on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in preparation for the Inauguration of Governor Andy Beshear. Traffic control will be in place at 7am.
Consider alternate routes and parking if you live or have business in South Frankfort or Downtown. Streets will be reopened as soon as possible, and efforts will be made to accommodate local residents and businesses. No parking areas will be strictly enforced, including towing. Some streets may have additional restrictions and times may be adjusted as required for public safety.
