The 2023 Farm City Field Day was held this morning at the Harrod Family Farm and the Firmly Rooted Flowers Farm both on Evergreen Road. There were 4 educational stops on this year’s tour including Cut Flower Production by Tara Watkins, Heavy Use Feed Production by Johnny Davenport, Tire Waterer by Dr. Steve Higgins, and a presentation on Embryo transfer by Dr. Les Anderson.
The event concluded with the traditional meal which was prepared by the Cattleman’s Association and served with the help students from of our local FFA chapters as well as the Junior Cattleman’s Association.
