Michael Mueller, Franklin County Judge Executive and Mayor Layne Wilkerson attended a press conference at Buffalo Trace Distillery this morning. The company provided an update about recovery operations at the facility. Judge Mueller noted, that despite their own struggles the Distillery has offered, multiple times, to provide assistance to our community.
They reported that distribution operations began again this morning. The company is hopeful that distilling and bottling operations can begin again as early as next week. The plant will continue to be closed to visitors at least through April 13th. More information can be obtained from their Facebook page.
