Our new Franklin County KY Solid Waste AmeriCorps Environmental Educator Christine Argus made her first presentation to a school group this morning. Argus talked to the students Capital Day School about our upcoming aluminum can recycling drive. This is the second year that our solid waste department will be conducting this competition between our local schools. Last year, Capital Day collected 2,491 cans. Western Hills High School won the drive by collecting 4,312 cans!
