Michael Mueller, Franklin County Judge Executive and Franklin County Sheriff Depp attended the Kentucky State University Founders’ Day Convocation this morning at Bradford Hall. The County at City were honored with a resolution in recognition of their support of KSU during the recent historic flooding event.
The convocation is an annual homecoming tradition for the University. The annual Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, October 11, beginning at 10 a.m. on the grounds of the Kentucky Capitol and concluding at the 2nd street – VFW Post 4075. The parade is expected to conclude by noon.
The weekend’s signature events include the Homecoming Football Game and a halftime performance from the Mighty Marching Thorobreds. On Saturday, October 11, the Kentucky State Thorobreds will face the Edward Waters Tigers at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
