The pro shop at Lakeview Springs Golf course is getting an upgrade for the first time since the building was originally constructed. A complete renovation is currently underway led by Maintenance Director Greg Frye.
The new space will feature a custom-built shelving, concrete countertops, a new snack bar area, new furniture and a fireplace. Assisting Frye is Christi Slayback and the ladies from the Franklin County Regional Jail SAP/SOAR program.
The women participating in the program go through a six-month intensive substance abuse program. Their work on this project helps them contribute to the community while learning real-world skills that can help them obtain job once they have graduated from the program. Judge Mueller and the Fiscal Court appreciate their hard work on recovery and on this project.
This project will be completed by this spring’s golfing season. It is just one more example of how we are working to move Franklin County Forward.
