We dodged the proverbial ice bullet. The county has experienced mostly sleet and snow but very little ice with this storm. Our County/City & State Road crews did a great job.
This latest snow shower has once again covered the streets and roads. Our crews are currently plowing this round of winter weather and will reapply salt after the snow has moved on (late morning or early afternoon).
Temperatures tonight are forecasted to be in the low teens to single digits. Please plan accordingly. Be patient as and use caution if you absolutely must get out on the roads. We should be back to normal operations by Sunday.
