During the May 31st Special Called Fiscal Court meeting Paula Roe, Dr. Avinash Tope, and Fred Goins were appointed to the Franklin County reapportionment committee. This group is tasked with, among other things, redrawing county magisterial districts based on the last census. Ms. Roe is a Branch Manager for Community Trust Bank, Dr. Tope is an Associate Professor at Kentucky State University and Squire Goins is retired having previously served as Deputy Judge, City Manager, and Magistrate. This committee will complete its work over the next sixty days.
