Michael Mueller, Franklin County Judge Executive and Franklin County KY Solid Waste Coordinator, Ally Hall, share an important Solid Waste update regarding flood cleanup for County residents. Starting tomorrow, dumpsters will be places strategically around our community. Please DO NOT place flood debris and trash on the side of the road!
Republic Services is also allowing all residents to dump at the Benson Valley landfill, located at 2157 KY-151, for a very reduced rate. Of course, our Landfill Voucher program is available for all residents. This allows both city and county citizens to dump for free on Saturdays up to 4 times per year. You can sign up for a voucher at: https://franklincounty.ky.gov/trash-vouchers/
Frankfort, KY City Government is also working on getting dumpsters for homeowners in their jurisdiction. Please follow their page for more information about locations and times that they will be available.
