Governor Beshear presented Judge Wells a ceremonial check this afternoon for $135,870 to repave Union Ridge Road and Hamilton Lane in northeastern Franklin County. He announced that the money was awarded from his office’s discretionary road fund. Judge Wells thanked Governor Beshear, Transportation Secretary Jim Gray and the Franklin County government staff for their hard work, every day, in making Franklin County a better place to live.
Also, in attendance were Representative Derrick Graham, Squire Scotty Tracy, Squire Sherry Sabastian, Clerk Jeff Hancock and PVA Kellie Lang.
