This evening, during the regular Fiscal Court meeting, the Franklin County Fire Department held a Pinning Ceremony for Chris Brown. He was promoted to the rank of Captain effective August 1st. This change in rank was necessitated by the retirement of Captain Cole McCort who was recognized during our last court meeting. Mr. Brown’s family was on hand for this special occasion. Please join us in congratulating him as he begins this new leadership role at the Fire Department.
