The Franklin County High School Cheer team recently helped pick up litter in the southern part of the County. The group was led by Head Cheer Coach Becca Kehrli-Ippolito. She noted, “The experience proved to be a tremendous team-building activity that left a profound impact on our athletes.”
The event also served as a valuable learning opportunity for the students.
“Furthermore, the athletes have shared with us the remarkable transformation that occurred within their perception of litter and environmental responsibility. Through this experience, they gained a firsthand understanding of the adverse effects of litter on our community’s aesthetic appeal, environment, and overall well-being,” Ippolito said.
Judge Mueller and the Fiscal Court are proud of these young people who worked hard to make their community a better place to live.
