The heat wave continues today through Friday. High temperatures will be in the 90s each day this week. Heat indices will be around 105F within the warning area, with some rural areas exceeding 105F. Areas east of the warning area will stay around 100F. Franklin County is currently just outside the warning area. The high temperature is forecast to reach 90 degrees this afternoon with the heat index reaching 95.
