This afternoon the county celebrated the retirement of two long time road department employees. We thank Stephen Hockensmith and AC Smither for their years of dedicated service to the citizens of Franklin County. They have kept our roads clear and in good condition through their efforts. Judge Mueller, the Fiscal Court and all of their colleagues wish them the best in this next chapter of their lives.
