Chief Electrical Inspector/Full-Time
RANGE $22.65 to $37.43 per hour
Franklin County Government is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief Electrical Inspector.
Qualifications include: Five years of current experience in the installation and/or design of all types of wiring (i.e., residential, commercial, and industrial) in accordance with the National Electrical Code. Registered Electrical Engineer with three years of experience will substitute for the installation/design qualification.
Minimum qualifications: High School Certificate or GED equivalent, must process a valid driver’s license, IIB Electrical Inspector certification issued by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Building, and Construction.
Duties include: Provide senior level electrical inspections, inspects electrical installations of all residential, commercial, and industrial projects; issue electrical permits and certificates of compliance; and verify state licenses of electrical contractors.
