Franklin County Government is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer. Requirements: Applicants must meet Kentucky Revised Statue Chapter 68 requirements and have a Bachelor’s Degree with five years of experience in a related field. Ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field will substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Duties include budget preparation and management, maintaining general ledgers, cash receipts, and all government fund journals, preparing and presenting monthly/quarterly financial reports, receiving, disbursing, and investing county funds, analyzing program costs, payments, and accounting processes.
