LIGHT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/TRUCK DRIVER

$37,227 annually $17.90 per hour
$38,355 annually $18.44 per hour (Class A CDL driver)
Franklin County Government is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Light Equipment Operator/Truck Driver.
Duties include: Operate light automotive, power equipment, mower, light tractor, gravel loader, light roller, dump truck, spreader box, clean vehicles, perform minor maintenance, paint pavement marks, and various general labor functions.
Minimum qualifications: High School Certificate or GED equivalent, must possess a valid driver’s license, hold a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) or obtain Class A CDL within 12 months of hire; if obtaining a Class A CDL must sign a 3-year contract of employment and complete county provided CDL training through certified training facility, must work toward a Road Scholar certification, and ability to work nights/weekends and holidays for emergencies.
