Frankfort – Judge Wells delivered remarks at this morning’s annual Kentucky Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service at Juniper Hill Park. The event honors fallen firefighters from across the state of Kentucky is hosted by the Kentucky Firefighters Association, the Kentucky Professional Firefighters Association, the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs and the Kentucky Fire Commission.
The Franklin County Fire Department, under the leadership of Chief Kevin Hutcherson, along with Frankfort Fire & EMS, under the leadership of Chief Wayne Briscoe helped to serve as hosts of the event. Additional remarks were made by Mayor Layne Wilkerson and Governor Andy Beshear.
