Franklin County announces the temporary closure of a portion of the walking trail at Lakeview Park. A section of the trail, near the softball complex, will be closed immediately for the installation of new drainage pipes relating to the phase 1 park renovations. The rest of the trail will remain open during this time. It is expected that this work will take several weeks to complete. The timing of the closure may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen factors.
