Judge Mueller administered the oath of office to Randy Charles and Brett Ashcraft this morning. The recent expansion of the school resource officer program has necessitated the hiring of several new Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies. Therefore, resource officers will be stationed at all Franklin County Schools when the new academic year begins.
The FCSO school resource officer program is led by Captain Jeff Abrams. Sheriff Chris Quire is thrilled to be able to partner with the district in order to help protect the students and staff in each building. County students are slated to begin classes on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023.
