Governor Andy Beshear made an exciting economic development announcement impacting our community at his weekly “Team Kentucky Update” on Thursday. He reported that Nitto, a global developer of state-of-the-art technology and provider of products and services for automotive, electronics, aerospace and other industries, will open a new facility in Frankfort, creating 220 full-time jobs. This is the largest single job announcement in our county since 2010.
Michael Mueller, Franklin County Judge Executive joined the Governor virtually via video to thank everyone who was integral in bringing this project to fruition. This included Kentucky Capital Development Corporation Interim Director Penny Peavler, Ron and Patrick Tierney, as well as members of the Fiscal Court.
This project is yet another great example of the things that can be accomplished for our community when we work together
