Due to icy conditions and refreezing on area roadways, and with safety as our top priority for both the community and our drivers, we have made the decision to suspend operations on Monday and Tuesday, January 26–27, 2026.
Missing two service days within the same week, combined with the now icy nature of this storm, prevents us from safely and effectively catching up during the remaining days of the week. Unfortunately, assistance from other divisions is not available due to the widespread reach of this winter storm.
Currently, we anticipate resuming normal operations on Wednesday and returning to our regular schedule.
What this means for you:
• Customers normally serviced on Monday or Tuesday will be serviced on their next scheduled service day the following week.
• Any extra material placed out at that time will be collected.
Please keep in mind that even if your street appears clear, our crews must consider all roads leading to your location to ensure safe travel.
