This afternoon the jail celebrated the one-year anniversary of SAP/SOAR by honoring 5 new graduates of the program. Judge Mueller spoke to the graduates and their families along with Jailer Hopper, Sheriff Depp and leaders from the Shepherd House.
The SAP/SOAR program held a ribbon cutting ceremony nearly one year ago on September 20, 2024, at the Franklin County Jail. The women participating in the initiative go through a six-month intensive substance abuse program. The Fiscal Court is proud to support innovative programs, such as SAP/SOAR, that provide recovery assistance to our inmates while also making our overall community stronger.
