After numerous conversations with community members, as well as discussions with the Hickman Branch Development Company, we are in agreement that further discussions need to take place concerning the future of the Duckers property. Therefore, the Hickman Branch Development proposal has been withdrawn. We appreciate their interest in our community and their willingness to work through this process in the best interest of Franklin County. We look forward to working together with the residents of Duckers and continuing our efforts to find the best use for this property. The proposed Special Meeting tentatively scheduled for April 3rd is canceled.
