The 75th annual Frankfort Christmas Parade will take place tomorrow starting at 6 PM in downtown Frankfort. This event was rescheduled from last weekend due to inclement weather. The route starts on High Street and will proceed to Main Street and continue up Capital Avenue. At the end of the parade, around 8 PM, the state Christmas tree lighting will occur at the rear of the Capital. From 6 PM to 8 PM food trucks and other family-friendly activities will take place at the rear of the Capital building. First Lady Britainy Beshear asks Kentuckians to donate stuffed animals and journals to ZeroV, the statewide coalition of domestic violence shelters. We encourage all citizens to make plans to attend this community tradition.
