Starting October 4, 2021, Franklin County residents (those with red carts) can start to put glass in their curbside recycle bin for transport to LFUCG’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Paper should still be taken to one of the two drop off locations (1) behind the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on River Bend Rd, 2) at the Frankfort Recycle Center at 309 Rouse Ave). Please only put accepted items in the recycle cart, as that will help us avoid contaminated loads and penalty fees from the MRF.
