This afternoon, the members of Energy Committee toured the progress of renovations at the Franklin County Jail. The facility is undergoing a multitude of upgrades including a new roof, new doors, new HVAC and water systems as well as lighting upgrades. The project is approximately 80 percent complete. Representatives from our contractor told the committee that they hope to have the project completely finished this fall.
