Franklin County Fiscal Court is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Occupational Tax Administrator.  Qualifications include a preferred Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration, public administration or a related field, accuracy and knowledge of taxes, ability to exercise good judgment and a high level of confidentiality, ability to work independently, excellent planning, organizational and communication skills, proficiency in spreadsheets and other computer related applications. 

This position is responsible for issuing business licenses and serves as the collection agent for license fees, transient room tax, insurance premium tax and other obligations owed for businesses operating in Franklin County. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, posting payments, monitoring and tracking accounts for delinquency, and maintaining occupational tax database.
