FRANKLIN COUNTY’S WASTE TIRE COLLECTION EVENT – September 30 to October 2 !
Franklin County, in cooperation with the KY Division of Waste Management, will be sponsoring a waste tire collection program to allow Franklin County (and all KY) residents the opportunity to dispose of waste tires at no charge. SCRAP/SALAVE YARDS AND TIRE RETAILERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.
Tires accepted include: tires on and off rim, farm implement, bicycle/motorcycle/go-cart/ATV, tractor, truck and passenger. *Please bring help if you have a large number of tires. If you have more than 1500 tires, please contact our Solid Waste Coordinator no later than September 10 for alternate arrangements.
Tires NOT accepted include: foam filled, calcium filled, off road construction, any tire with a bead greater than 1 3/4 inches.
