Environmental Code Enforcement Officer
Salary Range: $17.86-$21.00 per hour
Franklin County Government is seeking qualified applicants for the Environmental Code Enforcement Officer position.
Duties include: Coordinate livestock removal, compost programs, and residential yard waste disposal programs. Conduct environmental assessments of the compost facility. Enforce compliance with county nuisance ordinance. Responsible for mowing identified nuisance properties, appliance removal, and illegal dumping cleanups. Answer residential calls pertaining to waste hauling as needed, attend community and zero waste events as needed, and assist in snow removal for the Road Department.
Minimum qualifications: High School Certificate (or GED). Must possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license and maintain excellent driving records
