PART-TIME BUILDING INSPECTOR
$21.00 per hour
(99 hours or less per month)
Franklin County Government is accepting applications for a Part-time Building Inspector. Requirements include: High School Certificate or GED, valid Ky driver’s license, five years of current experience in the construction field or five years of experience in the office of an Architect, Engineer, or undergraduate degree in a related field will substitute for qualification on a year for year basis and possess the Kentucky I &II family dwelling or level I Building Inspector certification.
Duties include, but are not limited to: review building plans for compliance with Kentucky Residential Code and Building Code, issue permits and certificates of occupancy, inspect construction projects, assists citizens with questions and concerns regarding building issues.
Deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on July 26, 2021.
