During today’s Fiscal Court meeting Judge Wells issued a joint proclamation on behalf of both the city and county naming November 4, 2022, as “Gibson Wright Day”. Mr. Wright, a Frankfort native, is performing a concert tonight from 7 PM – 9 PM in downtown. He is a burgeoning country music artist who has arranged 11 single releases with his first release coming to radio this fall. He is currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee and working on his first album. His father, Mark Wright, attended this morning’s meeting to accept the proclamation on behalf of his son.
