This morning Judge Wells attended the Frankfort/Franklin County Chamber Day at the Capitol. He attended the event in order to help promote and encourage our local businesses as well as economic development within the county. The Judge and Representative Derrick Graham both stressed the importance of Kentucky State University to Franklin County as an integral educational partner and as a driver of our local economy.

“It is incumbent that we encourage our legislators to pass House Bill 250 in support of KSU. This bill will ensure that the University is able to continue its long history of serving our community by providing an excellent educational resource. It will also guarantee that we are able to continue to enjoy the multitude of economic and other benefits that go along with having this prestigious institution within our county,” the Judge remarked after the event.
