Make plans to attend Franklin County’s 231st Birthday Bash at Lakeview Park. This fun, free, kid friendly event will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 1 to 4 PM. It will feature inflatables, food, and games!
COUNTY CLERK OFFICE CLOSING EARLY ON 4/17/26
The Franklin County Clerk’s Office will close Friday, April 17, at 1:00pm so their staff can attend a Celebration of Life for Pat Hancock, father of Jeff Hancock, Franklin County Clerk. Transfers will end at 12:30 PM They will reopen Monday at 8:00 AM.
CONCRETE POUR AT LAKEVIEW PARK SOFTBALL COMPLEX
It is a busy day at the Lakeview Park softball complex. Work is progressing steadily at the new facility. This morning crews were working to pour the concrete pads at the concession stands. The complex is on track to be completed in October of 2026.
