Daily Alternating Lane Closures on U.S. 60 (Versailles Road) Beginning Monday, Feb. 23, in Franklin County
In-depth inspections of I-64 bridges scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 20, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of daily alternating lane closures on U.S. 60 (Versailles Road) beginning Monday, Feb. 23, in Franklin County.
Consultant engineers will perform in-depth inspections of the Interstate 64 bridges over U.S. 60 (Versailles Road) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, and Tuesday, Feb. 24. During this time, alternating lane closures will take place on U.S. 60 (Versailles Road) at mile point 13.4, as the inspection team will be using a manlift to complete the in-depth inspections of the bridges.
Motorists should heed signage, expect delays, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
