This morning Norton Healthcare held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their brand-new facility in Frankfort. It is located at 202 Limestone Dr Suite 1A near the Ollies. The renovations cost approximately 12 million dollars and will house Norton’s Frankfort Pediatric office which was formerly located at 4 Physicians Park. However, the new facility will also include adult primary care as well as onsite x-ray and lab services. They also plan to bring additional specialists for adults and children to the new Frankfort office.

Norton President and Chief Executive Officer Russell F. Cox spoke at the event outlining his vision for the future of healthcare in the Capitol city. The keynote speaker was longtime Frankfort Pediatrician Doctor Bob Blair. His father began his pediatric practice in Frankfort in 1948. Doctor Blair began practicing medicine in 1972. Blair’s office would eventually merge with Norton Pediatrics around 2011. Doctor Steven Hester, their Senior Vice-President and Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer also gave brief remarks.

The Fiscal Court was represented by Deputy Judge/Executive Jack Kennedy at the event.
