As flood waters recede today, personnel from the City of Frankfort, Franklin County Fiscal Court, Frankfort-Franklin County Emergency Management, Kentucky Emergency Management, and the Red Cross will be begin conducting initial flood damage reports for residential and business properties.

These onsite observations are to visually verify flood water levels and damage to properties, as part of the process to gain FEMA Individual Assistance. A property owner may be asked about interior damage to confirm water levels and some building occupant information. These surveys are a “quick capture” of the damage and are not full inspections of all areas of your property.

All persons will have identification and will provide that to you if requested.

Contact the Frankfort-Franklin County EOC at 502-352-2252 if you have concerns.

Thank you for your assistance as we move quickly to complete steps to assist in your recovery.
