There are two Waste Tire Collection Events (read: free tire disposal events) left in our area. These happen every three years in each county. Franklin County had theirs at the beginning of October. Remaining events will be in Anderson County and Mercer County. Events in the Bluegrass Region will be over by the end of October, and will not return until 2024. All Kentuckians are allowed to utilize this service, no matter the location of the event vs. the county you reside in.

Reminder – these events are open to ALL Kentuckians. No scrap/salvage yard or tire retailers can attend. All truck/passenger/ATV/bike tires accepted, on or off rim. No calcium/foam filled tires, tracks, or tires with a bead greater than 1.75″.
