Franklin County Conservation District will also be at Lakeview Park on the days listed operating their scrap metal drop off.
Saturday, April 23, will be our Spring Household Hazardous Waste collection event. It will run from 8 to noon at the Frankfort Recycle Center (309 Rouse Avenue – off Holmes St). We will not accept any water-based/latex paint, motor/hydraulic oil, or medications at this event.
There will be no free dumping at Benson Valley during this time, other than with the use of a voucher on Saturday during normal operating hours (8 to noon).
Yard Waste Wednesday will begin the following week, on April 27, where residents (excluding contractors) can bring any type of yard waste (not including dirt/stone/etc) down to the County Road Department for composting each Wednesday from 8-12.
