The Franklin County Fiscal Court continues its partnership with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for the 5th Annual Easter at Lakeview Park, 1 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024. The title sponsor, Traditional Bank, returns for the fifth year, and another sponsor, State Farm Agent Jason Dunn, has joined in on the fun to make this family-centered event possible. Through their combined generosity, 15,000 eggs will be on hand. The County will be partnering with YesARTS! to make a sensory-friendly area and egg hunt available so that all Franklin Countians can take part and participate. The Franklin County Health Department, the Imagination Library of Franklin County, and the Paul Sawyier Public Library will return, with the Imagination Library registering children for free books and PSPL bringing excitement with its obstacle course and craft area for the kids. Face painting will be available courtesy of the Franklin County High School Key Club. Both the Franklin County Fire and Road Departments will be on hand with fleet vehicles and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will return with a family favorite, its mounted police unit. And, here is the best part – Easter at Lakeview Park activities are FREE. Frankfort High School Athletics will be on site and have bottled water, popcorn, and freezer pops for sale, $2 or less with all proceeds benefitting FHS student athletic programs.

Please use the form, link below, to pre-register your family in the age-appropriate group. Once registered, you will receive an email with logistical information two days before the event. In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will move to Sunday, March 24th at 1 PM. Participants will be notified of any potential postponement by email by 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23rd.
