Yard Waste Wednesday is back! City and County residents can utilize the program at the Franklin County Road Department, 100 Lewis Ferry Rd, on Wednesdays starting August 5, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
There are some changes this year – including how to sign in for the program. The Road Department office building is closed to the public, so please do not attempt to enter. Instead, there will be a tent with a table and a box with the sign in waiver. All participants are required to sign the waiver prior to emptying their vehicles. While County staff will be on site, it it up to the resident to unload their vehicle, if they are physically able. Please follow all CDC guidelines associated with social distancing and mask wearing while on the premises.
Yard waste accepted at this drop off includes: limbs, branches, brush, grass clippings, flowers, leaves, etc. Please DO NOT bag your materials.
Items NOT accepted: tires, trash, hazardous waste
