Do you know that only certain items are acceptable in your curbside recycle cart?

accepted items include:

  •  #1 & #2 plastic bottles, jugs, and jars
  • aluminum & steel cans, cannisters, and lids
  • glass bottles and jars
  • drey paper, paper board, and cardboard
  • food and beverage cartons

Please completely empty and remove as much reside from your recyklabels as possible. Never bad your recuyalbles, and please do not inclide any trash, liquids, hazerdous materials, metals or any other non accepted item in the recycle cart. These contaminants cause damage at the recycle center in Lexington and shut down local recycling efforts.
